Moreton Wood is a 38 acre woodland that we manage for conservation and
wildlife. We also run a vibrant traditional woodland based business that fits in
with our conservation aims. We sell coppice products such as bean poles, hazel
panels, gate hurdles, and other types of fencing. A major product of our wood is
Wych Elm bark for weaving into chair seating. We sell Ash logs seasoned for 2
years as firewood.
We hold educational and creative events to promote understanding of the
woodland ecology and its relationship with traditional coppice products and
crafts. We also demonstrate these crafts at other local events and shows
