Camp Wood is a 22 acre woodland in Herefordshire where we live and work for
six months of the year making various green wood products and running green wood
and rural skills courses. The woodland is being managed for conservation, as a
residential course centre and in the long term to produce high quality timber
trees. Our aim is to live in and manage the wood with as little impact as
possible. As a result, all structures in the wood are low impact and could be
removed with little or no impact on the wood. Our living is made selling the
products we make from the woods. These include timber framing pegs, firewood,
charcoal, green wood furniture and other green wood crafts. We travel to various
events demonstrating green wood and rural crafts and selling our woodland
produce.
