The Oxfordshire Woodland Project provides specialist woodland management and coppice management advice free of charge over the Oxfordshire area and hinterland. It is actively experimenting and seeking practical ways around problems of modern coppice restoration, maintenance and usage.

The Project has developed basic guidelines for hazel coppice aspiring to be good habitat while also being financially self-supporting and presents periodic half-day courses relating to restoration coppicing. This service is open to members of the Oxfordshire Woodland Group (registered charity 1055228). Members owning woodland in Oxfordshire might expect to receive a free site visit, though others might still benefit from advice and discussions over the phone.
